Welcome to Bitton Archers

Coronavirus

Restart Archery – Phase 1

We have now restarted restricted archery.

Due to the rules put in place by ArcheryGB we are severely restricted on the number of archers we can accommodate at one time shooting at the field.

We cannot lend club equipment , due to the chances of cross contamination , so at this time we are only allowing members who have their own equipment to shoot.

The two remaining sessions of the current beginners course will be run outside when shooting resumes fully.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced archer you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from Bitton Archers.

We are a target archery club with members shooting a mix of compound, longbow. flatbow, horse bow and recurve bow styles (some people shoot several types, but not at the same time!). Members range in age from under 10 to over 70. We have 2 County Level coaches, 1 coach qualified to Level 2 and 8 coaches qualified to Level 1.

We have 2 shooting locations. We shoot all year round (when football matches allow) outdoors at Bitton AFC which is located on the A431 close to the Avon Valley Railway Station.

Between October and March inclusive, we also shoot indoors at The Park Centre on Daventry Road in Knowle.
